Registration Rules and Regulations

IMPORTANT!
Who should I contact in case I have any problems with registration? Please contact the professional conference organizer (PCO) - info.slt2022@gmail.com - they have a dedicated registration service. Please do not contact the technical chairs (by replying to the paper acceptance/rejection email) - while they are responsible for the technical program and papers, they are not experts in registration issues and will forward your email to the PCO anyway.

Note: Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or standard), otherwise the subsequent rate will be automatically applied. Bank transfers are accepted until October 20th, 2022 due to the significant time delays in the bank process. Credit card payments are accepted during registration lifetime.

The 2022 IEEE Spoken Language Technology Workshop (SLT 2022) will be held on 9th - 12th January 2023 at Doha, Qatar. SLT 2022 will be the first speech conference to be held in the Middle East. The SLT Workshop is a flagship event of IEEE Signal Processing Society overseen by the Speech and Language Processing Technical Committee. The workshop is held every two years and has a tradition of bringing together researchers from academia and industry in an intimate and collegial setting to discuss problems of common interest in automatic speech recognition and understanding. To foster collaborations across technical communities, the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) is a technical co-sponsor of SLT for the first time in the history of speech conferences.
SLT 2022 will feature invited talks/keynotes, paper presentations, panel discussion, special sessions and an exciting two-day speech hackathon focusing on the languages of the world. Following the theme of prior workshops, all papers will be presented as posters for increased interaction among participants. A full social program will provide ample opportunities for discussion, including welcome reception, banquet, lunches.
The registration to SLT 2022 is now open. You may access the registration portal here. If you need a visa letter to attend SLT 2022, please indicate this during your registration. You will receive the registration confirmation and the visa letter in your email upon completion of successful registration.

Please join us in Doha for an exciting SLT and help make it a success!
